A Study on the Cardio-Respiratory Function in Swimming Players

Abstract
The purpose of this Study was to evaluate a cardio-respiratory function in swimming players also is was compare to a physiological changes of swimming players and no athletes in maximal oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold, nine swimming player and mine non athletes participated as subjects of this paper, in the respiratory gas analysis by Douglas bag technique. The absolute and relative oxygen uptake in swimming players was shown a significant difference(p<0.05) as display a 4.23 1/min, and 60.34 ml/kg/min, respectively, compared to a 2.96 1/min and 45.36 ml/kg/min in non-athletes.
Also, absolute and relative oxygen uptake in anaerobic threshold was display a significantly high levels(p<0.05) in swimming players(2.63 1/min and 39.47 ml/kg/min, respectively), compared to a non-athletes(2.13 1/min and 28.63 ml/kg/min) however, % V02 max and % HR max in anaerobic threshold was not shown a significant difference between swimming players(59.74 % and 48.23 % V02 max) and non-athletes(53.67 % and 70.69 % HR max)
